St. Mary Magdalene Crucified: The Divine Feminine Wisdom incarnate, the Maiden of Light, walked with Jesus of Nazareth. From early Christian writings, legends, and the Gospel of Mary we learn of the true role of the Magdalene. She was his confidant and “his most beloved” disciple. She stayed with Jesus when the others fled his crucifixion, and Mary was the first to see the resurrected Christ. It was she that taught the inner meaning of Jesus’ parables to the disciples, and it was she that led the early Christians. And then she was “crucified” by the ignorance, the lust for power, and the bigotry of those that “institutionalized” the Church. All women were put on this cross with her. (This piece is 8 feet high, 5 feet wide and 19 inches deep. It weighs 200 lbs. The figure is removable from the cross. The cross, as shown, is wall mounted.
